    ID, driving licence and vehicle papers are reviewed before a driver takes a single trip — and an approved car can't be quietly swapped for another.

  • Follow the trip, and share it

    Watch the route in real time, and send the driver, the car and the ETA to whoever is waiting for you.

  • SOS, one tap away

    Riders and drivers can raise an SOS mid-trip. It opens an urgent line to our team with the trip already attached, so nobody has to explain where they are.

  • Rate it, and tell us why

    Every trip can be rated with a comment, and our team reads them. Accounts that put people at risk are removed.

SOS reaches the Meshwar team, not the emergency services. If you're in immediate danger, call 122 first — the app is not a substitute for the police or an ambulance.

Is Meshwar really 0% commission?

Yes. Drivers pay one flat monthly subscription and keep 100% of every fare. Meshwar never takes a percentage of a trip.

How do riders pay?

In cash, in Egyptian pounds, straight to the driver at the end of the trip. Card payment for rides isn't offered yet — when it is, you'll see it in the app. Any wallet credit or promo code you have comes off the fare first, so you hand over less.

When does it launch?

We're launching in Egypt, starting with Cairo, very soon. Leave your email and we'll tell you the moment it's live.

How do I become a driver?

Tap "I want to drive" to register your interest. At launch you'll pick a subscription plan, get verified, and start accepting trips.

Will Meshwar come to my city?

We're starting with Cairo and expanding across Egypt city by city. Other countries are on the longer map — but Egypt comes first.

What does the driver subscription cost?

A flat price — never a percentage of your trips. Plans run by the day, the week or the month, and prices are shown in the driver app before you buy. Pay by card, mobile wallet, or cash at a partner kiosk. When a plan runs out it simply stops; you're never charged more than the plan price and never owe us anything.

Do prices go up when it's busy?

Sometimes — and you'll see it before you book, never after. When lots of riders in an area need a car and few drivers are free, fares there can rise for as long as that lasts. It's capped, it appears as its own line on the fare so you know exactly what it costs, and the whole increase goes to your driver. If you'd rather not pay it, you can wait or start from somewhere else.

What if I cancel?

Free while we're still finding you a driver. Once a driver has accepted and set off, cancelling may cost a fee — the app shows you the amount before you confirm, and the whole of it goes to the driver who was on their way to you. It isn't charged to a card: it's added to your next trip's fare and paid in cash with it.

What is the Meshwar wallet?

A credit balance that comes off your fares. It fills from referral rewards, refunds, change when you pay more cash than the fare, and fixes our support team makes. You can't top it up and you can't cash it out — it exists only to make your next rides cheaper.

What can I book besides a car?

Economy and Comfort cars, a motorbike for cutting through traffic, and Package for sending something across town. You pick before you see the price, and each is quoted the same way.

How are drivers verified?

Every driver's ID, licence and vehicle documents are reviewed before their first trip, and riders rate every trip so quality stays high.

Can I ride and drive with one account?

Yes. One Meshwar account on one phone number can book rides, drive, or both — no separate signups.

What tools do drivers get?

Turn-by-turn navigation with live traffic — on the phone or on Android Auto — demand hotspots showing where riders are, destination mode for the drive home, back-to-back trip queueing, competitions, and an earnings screen that matches what's in your pocket.

Do drivers earn anything for inviting friends?

Yes — when another driver signs up with your referral, you earn credit towards your subscription once they get going.
