Terms & Conditions

Meshwar Driver · Last updated: 11 August 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Meshwar driver application ("the App"). By creating an account and using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Your account

You sign in with your mobile phone number and a one-time verification code (OTP). You are responsible for keeping access to your phone number secure and for all activity carried out through your account.

You can also sign in — or create your account — with Google or Apple. A phone number verified by a one-time code is still required for every account: the Google or Apple sign-in is a convenience linked to your account, and your phone number remains its primary credential. You can link or unlink these sign-in methods from your profile at any time.

2. Verification (KYC)

Before you can go online and accept trips, you must complete verification by submitting the documents required in your country — which may include your driving licence, national ID, and vehicle documents. You confirm that all documents and information you provide are accurate and belong to you. We may suspend access if documents are missing, expired, or cannot be verified.

An approved vehicle is locked. You can add and edit vehicles freely while they are awaiting review, but once a vehicle has been approved its details — make, model, colour, year, and plate — can no longer be edited in the App, because riders and our records rely on the approved vehicle matching the car you actually drive. If an approved vehicle's details are wrong, or you change cars, contact Help & Support: our team can correct the record, and every correction is logged. Driving a vehicle other than the approved one you have selected is a breach of these Terms.

3. Subscription plan

Driving with Meshwar is based on a subscription plan rather than per-trip commission. Subject to your active plan you keep the fares you collect. Each plan includes a set number of trips for a set period — a day, a week, or a month. Plan details, prices, durations, and trip limits are shown in the App before you subscribe and may change over time.

When a plan is used up, it simply stops. When you have used all the trips in your plan, or its period ends — whichever comes first — the plan stops and you cannot go online again until you buy another. There are no extra trips on credit: you are never charged more than the plan price and never owe us anything. To keep driving, you buy another plan.

You may pay for your subscription by card, by mobile wallet, or — where available — in cash at a partner kiosk network (such as Aman) through our third-party payment provider, or as otherwise offered in the App. Where available, wallet credit may be applied as a discount at checkout (see "Wallet credit" below). A kiosk payment code stays payable for a limited time shown in the App; your plan activates when the kiosk network confirms your cash payment.

Changing plans. While a plan is active you may upgrade to a higher-priced plan at any time. When you upgrade, the value of the trips you have not yet used on your current plan is credited toward the new one, and you pay the difference. Moving to a lower-priced plan is not available mid-period; you may choose a lower plan to start when your current plan ends.

Subscriptions are final: no refunds, no cancellation. Once a subscription is purchased, the charge is final and non-refundable, and the plan cannot be cancelled or ended early — it runs for its full period. This applies however little of the plan you use, and whether you paid by card, mobile wallet, or wallet credit. We do not refund subscription charges to your card, bank account, or mobile wallet, and we do not send money to drivers in any form. Please review the plan details in the App before you subscribe.

Automatic renewal (monthly plans). For monthly plans you may turn on auto-renew. Turning it off is not a cancellation: your current plan still runs to the end of its period, and turning auto-renew off simply means we will not buy the next one for you.

Saved cards and automatic renewal charges. When you choose "save card" at checkout, our payment provider stores a secure reusable token for that card — we never see or store your card number. By saving a card and turning on auto-renew, you authorize us, at the end of your plan period, to charge that card the plan price to buy your next period in advance. Auto-renew is available only where a saved card can be charged. You can withdraw this consent at any time by removing the saved card or turning auto-renew off in the App; either stops future automatic charges. Charges already made remain final under the no-refund policy above. If an automatic charge does not go through, nothing is owed — your plan simply ends and you can buy another in the App.

3a. Wallet credit (referral rewards, trip discounts, busy-area bonuses, and cancellation fees)

Your account may hold wallet credit from four sources: (a) referral rewards — if you refer another driver and they subscribe, you and that driver may each receive promotional credit shown in the App; (b) trip discounts — when a rider's referral reward or promo code reduces a fare, the rider pays you the discounted amount and we reimburse the difference to you as wallet credit, so you are made whole for the discount; and (c) busy-area bonuses — there is a limit on how much a rider's fare can rise when demand is high, and where the demand in an area is worth more than that limit allows us to charge, we pay you the difference ourselves as wallet credit. It is calculated from the demand at the time the rider booked, and is added when the trip is completed; and (d) cancellation fees — the whole of the fee a rider is charged for cancelling on you after you accepted (see section 4).

Wallet credit may also come from an upgrade: when you move to a higher plan mid-period, the unused value of your current plan is credited and applied toward the new one (see section 3). Our support team may also add wallet credit to put something right — every support adjustment carries a stated reason.

All wallet credit is closed-loop credit: it can be used only toward subscription plans. It is not cash — it has no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or refunded. Unused credit may expire after a period shown in the App, and we may change or end these programmes at any time.

3b. Competitions and promotions

We may run optional driver competitions and similar promotions from time to time. Each competition has its own terms shown in the App — its scoring metric, time window, prizes, and eligibility — and joining a competition means you accept them. Scores are calculated only from your verified activity on the platform (such as completed trips) inside the competition window. If you join, your first name, last initial, and score appear on the competition's public leaderboard.

Prizes are as described in the App: money prizes are closed-loop wallet credit (see "Wallet credit" above) — never cash; other prizes may be subscription plans, bonus trips, or physical items. We may disqualify participants for fraud or abuse (such as fake or manipulated trips), and we may cancel a competition before its results are finalized, in which case no prizes are granted. Final standings and prizes are confirmed by our team after review.

4. Going online and accepting trips

You select the type of vehicle you operate (for example Economy, Comfort, or Motorbike) in your profile, and you may receive offers that match that type — including ride and, where supported, package-delivery requests. When you go online you may receive offers from nearby riders. You decide whether to accept an offer. Once accepted, you agree to drive to the pickup, complete the trip or delivery safely, and collect the fare shown.

For delivery requests you are responsible for handling items with care and may decline or return anything that appears unsafe, prohibited, or unlawful. You must not transport items in breach of applicable law.

If you can no longer take a trip you accepted, you may release it before pickup — choose a reason in the App and the request is offered to other drivers. Once a trip has started it cannot be cancelled in the App. Every cancellation and release is recorded with its reason; frequent cancellations are reviewed and may lead to warnings, suspension, or removal from the service. Riders may report a cancellation, and you can likewise report a rider from the trip's details.

When a rider cancels on you. If a rider cancels after you have accepted their request — including after you have arrived at the pickup — they may be charged a cancellation fee, and the whole of that fee is credited to you as wallet credit (see section 3a). Meshwar keeps none of it. The credit is posted at the moment of the cancellation, whether or not the rider has paid us yet — you are not made to wait for them. Nothing is credited when a trip is cancelled before you accepted it, or when you are the one who cancels.

Destination mode. You may set a destination a limited number of times each day (the App shows how many you have left, and the count resets at midnight in your country). While a destination is set, you will only be offered trips that take you meaningfully toward it, so you should expect fewer offers than usual — that is the purpose of the feature, not a fault. A destination ends when you reach it, when you clear it, or after the period shown in the App. Setting a destination uses one of the day's allowance whether or not you complete a trip with it, and clearing it does not give the use back. Destination mode does not guarantee that any trip will be offered.

5. Payment and earnings

Riders generally pay in cash at the end of the trip. Your earnings and completed-trip summaries are shown in the App. You are responsible for any taxes due on your earnings.

You keep the whole fare. We do not take a commission or a per-trip cut. What the rider pays for the trip is yours; we are paid through your subscription plan, not out of your fares.

How the fare is set — and when it can change. The rider's fare is quoted up front from a real driving route with live traffic, itemized as a base fare, per-kilometre and per-minute rates, and a minimum fare, plus any busy-time increase. If the ride runs materially longer than the routed trip (more than about 20% over), the final fare is recalculated at the same rates and is never below the quote; if the ride ends materially short of the destination, the rider pays the lower fare for the distance actually driven. The App records the route driven during each trip (GPS points) and uses that record for these adjustments; billable distance may be capped at a multiple of the routed distance, and trips with large differences are reviewed. If a rider pays more cash than the final fare, the App credits the difference to the rider's in-app wallet as change.

Collecting a rider's outstanding cancellation fee. When a rider owes a cancellation fee from an earlier trip, that amount is added to the fare of their next trip and shown to both of you as its own line. You collect it in cash along with the fare. That part of the cash is not your earnings: we already paid the fee to the driver it was owed to, so the same amount is deducted from your subscription wallet when the trip completes, and it is settled against your next plan purchase — it reduces what you pay for your next plan. This can leave your wallet showing a negative balance until then; that is the amount you are holding for us, and it is the only circumstance in which your balance can go below zero. The App shows how much collected fee you are currently holding on your earnings and home screens. You are never asked to pay us money to clear it: it comes off your next plan.

Higher fares at busy times. When riders in an area need cars and few drivers are available there, trips starting in that area may be priced above the normal rate for as long as that lasts. The whole of that increase is yours, on the same terms as the rest of the fare. The App shows where demand is high, but it is a description of conditions at that moment and not a promise of work, of a particular fare, or of any level of earnings — demand can end before you arrive.

6. Safety and rest

For your safety and that of riders, the App may limit continuous online time and require rest breaks. You agree to drive only when fit to do so and to comply with all traffic and licensing laws.

Emergency help. During a trip you can raise an SOS from the App. This opens a support conversation that is marked urgent and linked to your trip, so our team can see the trip and reach you quickly. SOS is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first — the App is not a substitute for the police, an ambulance, or the fire service.

7. Conduct and ratings

You agree to treat riders with respect, drive professionally, and keep your vehicle in safe, clean condition. Riders rate trips and may leave a comment, and we may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service or put others at risk.

Badges and celebrations. The App may award you badges for milestones such as your first trip or a number of trips completed. Badges are recognition only: they are not wallet credit, carry no cash value, cannot be exchanged or transferred, and a badge awarded during a trip is withdrawn if that trip does not complete. Competition prizes are separate and governed by section 3b. We may add, change, or retire badges at any time.

8. Location

While you are online, the App uses your location continuously to match you with nearby riders and guide you through trips. Location sharing is required to receive trips; you can go offline at any time.

9. Account recovery

If you lose access to your registered phone number, you can recover your account by verifying your identity with your national ID. We review recovery requests to protect against fraud.

10. Service availability and liability

The service is provided on an "as available" basis and may be interrupted or changed. You operate as an independent driver and are responsible for your vehicle and compliance with local law. To the extent permitted by law, Meshwar is not liable for indirect or incidental losses.

11. Account deletion

You can delete your driver account at any time from Account > Delete account. To protect you, deletion requires a verification code sent to your phone plus a typed confirmation.

Deletion removes your driver data — your documents, vehicles, and profile details — and ends your sessions. If your number is also registered on the rider app, only your driver account is removed. Some records, such as completed-trip, subscription, and payment history, may be retained in anonymized form where required by law or to resolve disputes.

You cannot delete your driver account while a trip is in progress, or while a reward is owed to you — collect it before deleting. Plans are prepaid, so you never owe us anything on the way out.

Deleting while you have an active plan. Because a plan cannot be cancelled or ended early (see section 3), deleting your account does not end your plan or refund it. Instead, we keep your account and your remaining plan until your current plan period ends, and delete everything then. You are signed out straight away and cannot drive in the meantime. If you change your mind and sign in again before the period ends, your account, your data, and the rest of your plan are restored exactly as they were. If you do not, your account and personal data are deleted permanently when the period ends. If less than 24 hours remain on your plan when you delete, your account is deleted immediately and cannot be restored.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version; continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Contact

For questions about these Terms, contact us through Help & Support in the App.
